Korhan Gülseven

I'm an IT architect: I modernise existing system landscapes and build new ones, from the first sketch to live operation. In more than thirty years I've seen almost everything, from small businesses to large corporations, with my time at SBB shaping me the most. Today I'm an architect at Zooey, doing exactly that in a small crew. Short paths, plenty of freedom, and projects that pack a punch.

Technology is my craft, but the people behind it matter just as much. A team that works well together and knows why it's building something will carry an architecture further than any diagram. I like to work hands-on, because it's only when you build things yourself that you notice what's needlessly complicated. Clever solutions make me suspicious; simple ones win me over.

At the moment I'm studying how deep learning, language and vision models work in detail, and building my own applications with agentic AI. Some of it turns out useful, some of it is just curiosity. Much of it ends up as experiments on my GitHub.

And when the screen stays off: travel, a good film, and when the weather allows, the road belongs to the motorbike.
