From mainframe to cloud, from batch to real time, I've been through most of it. Today I modernise systems that have grown over years, without taking them offline. Step by step instead of big bang, while something modern takes shape in the background. And when I build something new, I build it so it can grow with the business instead of needing a rewrite five years later.

Technology is only half the work. The other half is the people: I get software teams moving, coach them and clear away what slows them down. And I make sure business and development speak the same language, translating domain requirements into solid technology, and the other way round.
